What I should learn during this week assignment - Define the scope of final project. - Develop the project plan.
During the previous week I have change the idea of my final project, as in the first weeks of fab academy I decide to make Robotic Fish
but I change it to musical instrument called Semsemya
it is an Egyptian traditional musical instrument,so I decide to to make some improvements on it to make it electronic instrument where any one can use it easily and enjoy playing with it.

It is a musical instrument that will be made from wood where I can make the frame using shopbot and I will use photo transistor as input and laser beam as output.
The idea is that the laser beam is in the direction of the photo transistor when I put my hand between the laser beam and the photo transistor the resistance of the photo transistor will changed,so now I finish the part of the electronics.
The next step is networking as I want to read the value of the resistor on the pc using serial communications.
The next step after finish networking is the time of processing I will use processing.py
to translate the value of resistance to specific sound.
Now by changing the rope I put my hand on it the sound will change.
At first I think to make something that related to our traditional, I find that we have a traditional music instrument so I think to make it with digital fabrication and to make it electronic. so alot of people who love it can use it and learn it easily.
SO after I have an idea I find alot of similar instrument but I did not find one typical to mine.

The outer frame I will make the design consist of multi layers frame using Fusion-360
and export it inDXF
and by knowledge I have learned in week 3 Computer controlled cutting
I will cut the frame using the laser cutting machine.
The holder of the instrument I will make it using Fusion-360
and export it in stl
format and 3D print it, in this part I will use knowledge I have learned in week5 3D scanning and printing
The logo of instrument I will make it using corle draw software and then cut it with vinyl cutting machine. For this part I will use skills I have learned in week 3 Computer controlled cutting
I will cut the logo and stick it to the instrument.
Designing the circuit board for this part I will use kokopelli software and mill it using the cnc machine and solder the electronic component, For this part I will use the skills I have laerned in week6 Electronic production
for making the board.
Programming the board for programming the I will use the skills I have learned in week 8 Embedded programming
Using the analog to digiatl conversion to take the raeding from the photo resistor, I will use skills I have learned in week10 input devices
The main question need to be answered is
- how to know the specific tone for each robe to use it? - How to use processes.py with attiny44?
The evaluation is that I succeed to have different tones from the instrument.
