Lamp with Digital Clock

In this modern fast-paced and stressful life, people always had difficulty relaxing themselves and some even struggle dozing off at night. What could be more relaxing than viewing a beautiful sight?

Thus, for my potential project, I would like to design and make a lamp. The lighting for the lamp is just adequate enough whereby one can relax and ease their mind before they turn in. The images on the lamp will create a soothing view with a digital clock at the base of the lamp.

As I'm quite new to digital fabrication, therefore unsure what electronics or mechanical components are required but hope to acquire adequate knowledge in the next few months.
