Hi. My name is Eamon Durey, but you can call me Nim. I manage FabLab Nerve Centre which is a community access Lab based in Derry, Northern Ireland.
Aside from my work in FabLab, I have a keen interest in music technology / audio production, and i have spent the majority of my life either recording or teaching within Recording Studios.
In the last year, we have established Fab Foundation Ireland, with a view to leading the development of numerous new FabLabs on the island of Ireland. A key part in this vision is the ability to offer Fab Academy to all existing and aspirant Labs, with a local instructor, so I have been sacrificed as the guinea pig to lead the development of this.
