1. Assignment:
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE?HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE LEFT:
I have about a week left to present my final project, because I will present on June 14, to get to this presentation I will have to work every day because I have all the integration and programming part of the plates, as well as the cutting of the plates of methacrylate.
WHAT TASKS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED, AND WHAT TASKS REMAIN?:
If we divide in four parts the objectives would take a little less than half, being these objectives: the design of the dino-robot, that is completed; the construction of the structure, I made the parts printed in 3D and cut and welded the boards; the programming of the plates, which is missing; and integration, which is missing.
HOW WILL I COMPLETE THE REMAINING TASKS IN TIME?:
I will continue with the schedule that I made last week to be in time to present the project.
WHAT HAS WORKED?:
It seems that the part that works is the pressfits that I created in Fusion 360. I have also tried that the plates of the input and the output work correctly with sun respective sensors and motors and also they work, although it does not have the programming realized.
WHAT HASN'T?:
The part that does not finish is to integrate all the components due to the strength of the motors and the weight of the dino-robot as well as the instability that is created when putting the head and tail, this instability is created to give a Point of extra mobility to the model and that is not so rigid, especially for the smaller audience that it is thought to direct.
WHAT QUESTIONS STILL NEED TO BE RESOLVED?:
The issues that most concern me right now are the part of the programming especially in the part of the sensor where it seems complicated and costs to get the data of the sensors that fit to be able to recognize a line of a color and to send the data to the Engine plate to correct the trajectory.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED?:
Now it is designed in 3D and more importantly make parametric files that make it easier to get back to work with them. I have also learned the principles of electronics and how to design and assemble circuits that can be used for reading a sensor and sent to an output element.
Apart from the great amount of knowledge that I have gained during these last months and the possibility of increasing my creativity through the creation of different structures, one of the things that has helped me is the working methods, where I have had to Learn to work in parallel to be able to develop the work of the weeks in all its facets and spiral in order to be able to complete the processes step by step until reaching the end.
