1. Assignment:
DEVELOP A PLAN FOR DISSEMINATION OF YOUR FINAL PROJECT:
My dissemination plan is based on workshops with children ranging in age from 8-16 years. I will start by presenting it to a project in the National Museum of Natural Sciences of Madrid in which for a year my salary and the necessary resources will be raised, this workshop will enhance both cooperative and competitive education as well as knowledge in science and technology. After this year in which the dino-robot was tested and adapted to the educational needs of the different age ranges, it will be sponsored to be carried out both in other museums of paleontological interest and in schools where there is a certain interest to unify science and technology.
I tried to do a project that through of the new technologies I could teach concepts on natural sciences, mainly animal structures.
Once approved the project what would be done would be to create kits with different structures of both current animals and dinosaurs so that the children use these kits to build their own animal-robot. The license that I look for for this project therefore is that it can be used in education, without its own benefit in case that it was wanted to use that way should contact with me.
The licenses that I look for to know a little more were:
- copyright: refers to all rights reserved so that its disclosure or use must always be subject to the author.
- Creative commons: It comes from the copyleft license, which is unlike the copyright license. Creative commons allow you to add some limitations to this free distribution base.
This is an educational project and I thought about protectin myself with a creative commons license, in addition I select a creative commons Atribution-NonComercial because I need monetize my idea without prohibiting its use in education. That way you should contact me if you want to market a workshop with this robot.
On the other hand I found that there were two copyleft type licenses and the like to compare:
- GNU AGPLv3: with a lot of conditions to ensure that nobody takes over your work. Disclose source,
License and copyright notice,
Network use is distribution,
Same license,
State changes,
- MIT License: much more permissive with a single condition, License and copyright notice
Of these two, in order to make available to anyone the option of using all my resources I would prefer by MIT license.
