Electronic design.

 

i re designed the echo hello-world board ,added a button and LED.and connected some pins for the outputs from controller.

Software Used:

 

 

 

I used Autodesk's Eagle PCB design for making the board design. I downloaded the free version of Eagle and installed on my PC.eagle

 

Creating the design

 

 

I created a new project and named as My hello board.

 

Added Fab library in eagle by downloading Fab.lbr given in fab academy .org for getting 1206 design components

 

I went through the features of ATtiny44 from the data sheet here

 

Inserting components and generating Machine file

 

 

I Inserted the components(AT Tiny44,resistors,capacitor,LED,Button, connection headers and resonator).

 

While designing schematic in eagle,we can use many tools from tool box  like Move,copy,rotate etc.Name and value tool allows us to Name a component and adding value for the components like resistor,capacitor etc.

 

Text tool allows to add names or any  markings on the board. I added my name in the board using this tool. Net tool is used to make connections between components and Label tool allows to label  connections so that Ground and common connections can be connected.

Created board file,routed and then Generation of Gerber file for cirqoid machine is done by CAM processing tool in Eagle.

 

 

PCB  milling

 

I converted the CAM processed files in to.Cmpl and SOL file for Cirqoid machine which is used for milling.

 

I made the homing and offsetting  in order to get correct trace.

Cleaned the board with G-22 dry contact cleaner spray, then i removed the unwanted traces which may create problem while soldering.Then i got the final board.

 

 

Soldering 

 

Selected the components and placed in a paper with specification. So that i can easily arrange it for soldering.

 

 

 

I placed components to the respective position and soldered to the board.

 

Since in my design, There is a bottom layer connection. I removed the connected trace and i soldered a zero ohm resistor instead of jumper.
