Contributed to my group assignment with the design of the cart of the system that was to be rolled, which was designed in 2D and cut in laser MDF 3mm.
Also, it is supported in the assembly and coupling of parts by the use of a bench grinder for the filing of metal parts.
Also design in 3D in the Inventor Autodesk program, design a support for the step motors that allows to fix these devices,
to the base of the plate in a way that secures the motor and guarantees a uniform movement.
Install, gauge and tense the GT40 cables that transmit the movement on the pulleys to fix the zero point for the stepper motor that rotates according to signals by angles.
Also design the mechanical parts such as pulleys needed to make the movement through the GT2 belt used in the Scanner.
Carry out the full scale design, and phrase the parts in the Shopbot.Previous to this perform the tests to determine a tolerance of 0.5 mm.
Configure the paths of the designs to mill, and also mill the parts that were the structure of the prototype. As well as the assembly of all the pieces for the final test.
