2D Design
Autocad 2016
I started designing in CAD programs, at 2D level with the software Autocad 2016. I started by making straight lines with circumferences to form a pinion.
Finally complete the design according to the shape of the pinion and complete the design of its gear, although being 2d design still does not prove that it engages tangentially.

Corel Draw X7
The second program for 2D that uses Corel Draw X7 where you also make a pinion, for this start by configuring the dimensions of pages that will work.
Then start my design with "line 2 points" and start designing the base of the pinion.
After finishing designing the pinion, I finally continued designing the gear that should fit in the teeth, for this use the tools like line type, dimension, angle, rotate of the software workbar.

3D DESIGN
Autodesk Inventor 2016
I started by downloading and installing the Autodesk Inventor Software, then I opened the software.
Inventor Autodesk allows you to design in different systems of units, I chose ISO-mm, because I decided to design in units to millimeters.
Then, start designing the initial measurements of my project, using the tools "Line", "Circle", "Rectangle", "Project Geometry", and tabien dimensioning the measurements with "Dimension".
Also, use the "Work Plane" tool to make 3D view sections for in-plane layouts.
And finally , this is my desing 3D in Inventor.
But , in Inventor Autodesk you can get the views in 2D layout through the "Drawing" template.

TinkerCAD
Tinkercad is a 3D design program online, to start you must create an account.
You start the design with simple figures that are the base of your design.
Then, using the tools "Group" or "Desgroup" you can get the holes , adding or subtracting figures
And, finally this is my design in TinkerCAD
SOLIDWORKS
I started, download and install the software with the license granted by the FabAcademy.
I opened the software SOLID WORKS 2016
The design starts with the sketch, for that we use 2D tools for example "Circle" , " Line", " Curve" and others.
Then, it starts with the 3D design using, with the tools " Extrude ", " fillet ", " Chamfler ".
I using " fillet " tools for better 3D finish.
And , finally this is my desing in SOLIDWORKS.
