Invention
Complete project / product: At this stage prototyping has not yet been completed. It is expected to have a functional project but performing an analysis of the improvements for a finished product Documentation: the file repository will contain files for the reproduction of the project, which shows the steps for the project and also the additional improvements if it is desired to build the product in the future.
Standardization: This go kart is easy to adapt because its design is great and for all types of people who want to enjoy a fun. Some parts need to be standardized, as in the case of the mechanical system of the rudder and the engine that will allow the GoKart to operate.

Intellectual Property

License: Given that most of the design is published online in an open format and is available to the general public, a Creative Common license may be appropriate.

¿What is Creative Commons?

Is a Creative Commons (CC) license is one of several public copyright licenses that enable the free distribution of an otherwise copyrighted work. A CC license is used when an author wants to give people the right to share, use, and build upon a work that he/she has created.

Types of Licenses

Well, the most appropriate type of license would be BY ATRIBUTTION-NON COMMERCIAL-NO DERIVATES, since this is a prototype still in development, and it is not convenient for me as author to authorize possible derivative works of the FabKart, and less a commercial work since The mechanical system is still being improved.

I USED THE CREATIVE COMMONS LICENSES BECAUSE:

The Creative Commons licenses are born to share and reuse the works of creation under certain conditions. With the Crative Commons licenses, the author authorizes the use of his work, but the work remains protected.

APACHE SOFTWARE fOUNDATION

In case the production is a software you can use an APACHE lICENSE. In all cases, contributors retain full rights to use their original contributions for any other purpose outside

of Apache while providing the ASF and its projects the right to distribute and build upon their work within Apache.

Diffusion

Diffusion: It could be an open design, ie published online. But fabrication is not simple because it takes a lot of knowledge of tools and suggest a change also associated costs.

Diffusion in the international market: A similiar OpenDesk model could be used to manufacture the finished product elsewhere, but customers would have to pay for labor costs and materials and profit margins for the manufacturer.

Income

Costs: The final cost of the prototype is not yet defined because it is not finished. It is estimated that it would cost between $ 300 and $ 400 excluding machining costs and without the cost of labor. The actual costs will depend on the person because it could vary also depending on the engine that is put to go kart and features.

Income: Any non-end user (intermediary) could charge their labor costs plus a margin.
