Applications and implications
What will it do?
A Go Kart will be designed, which has a structure designed and original design. As for the functional part is a land vehicle without suspensions. The two front wheels exerting the control of direction, and the two rear axles connected by a one-piece shaft that transmits the power of an engine.
Building a Kart, is the beginning of the development of new and better features for automobiles and the introduction to the competitions of the sport nut, starting to deliver our passion to the world of motorsports.
Who's done what beforehand?
The basic design is quite main
Andrew Mao student of How to Make (almost) Anything created a Press-Fit Go-Kart that used more or less the same principles of my project, but on a smaller scale, he used a more expensive engine so he could have the strength and speed Of Go-Kart.
What materials and components will be required?
It will be used for the chassis of go kart MDF 18 mm, with the use of the Shopbot, also gears for the traction system of the rear wheel rim of the trolley, led lights, plate construction (Fabduino), bridge h, also input And outputs, 12V drill motor, general wiring. Also the Bluetooth module will be used to control the application which allows to control the LEDs, and to show the results of the encoder and ultrasound. The use of the 3D printer which allowed to print brackets that served on the directional of the rudder also the taxiing for the rims of the rims. Also a worm rod for the steering system.
How much will it cost?
I have not made a final cost estimate. Although, as most of the materials are part of the inventory, I have thought it would be approximately $ 300 of budget because you would buy a drill motor, filleting, steel tube, gears.
UPDATE: In the end, I used about $ 180 of inventory, since I used much more MDF than I anticipated. Additionally, electrical components, wiring, nuts, bolts and washers covered up to about $ 30. In addition, I bought a drill motor which cost me $ 50 and $ 40 in runs because they are large.
What parts and systems will be made?
Most components will be fabricated and assembled using materials, machines and laboratory tools. Only engines, bolts, steel tubes and gears were purchased, a directional system for the go kart was also made, because the go kart had a great weight and supports were made in the front wheels.
What processes will be used?
For the project, the following processes are required:
Computer Assisted Design: Design all necessary parts, mainly with Autodesk Inventor.
Computer-controlled machining: For cutting large pieces of MDF.
Electronic Design and Production: To make electronic parts.
3D Printing: To print the unique pieces needed for the project.Programming: To program everything from the plates to the interfaces and the construction of the application.

The important activity is to make the complete design of the structure and the mechanical parts.

Pogramar and the application
The purchase of some components such as the engine, gears, filming.
Make the small union components that will be used at the time of assembly

What is the schedule?
The timetable for completing the project is as follows:
Current Week: Carry out the mechanical pending designs that are necessary to give movement, also cut the structure in MDF and make the mechanism of how the kart system would work.
Next week: Perform the programming by building some plates as they were made previously, then proceeds to pogramar next to make the application.
Final week: End the schedule. Test and make adjustments.
How will it be evaluated?
I'm not really sure how to fully respond to this at this stage. But it is possible through some indicators that indicate that the project is executed as it was thought:
Mechanism (such as joints) work very well, it is not expected to work perfectly because some of the materials are not ideal for construction.
It should run as expected, if the schedule is correct,
Also when the rudder is turned, the position of the tires must be changed.
