in this assignment i'm going to describe my role with our group

it was the group project, so we built a foam cutting machine, which is controlled with Gestalt Nodes

my contribution

first we were grouped into 3 main groups (designing, electronics&programming and operations) but actually all of us worked in the 3 processes

i was one of the electronics and programming team

after we decided to use metal guitar strings i started calculating the required power that enables the string to get enough heat to cut the foam

then we started testing it, after many tries we used a computer power supply

then we started cutting the the machine's chase & assembling it

we had a problem with the laser cutting machine (in it's water chiller "which caused a lens problem" and power supply)

it's not that easy to get a laser cutting machine lens in egypt, so we paused the machine each 10 seconds and then continue cutting for another 10 seconds and pause the machine and so.
