this week assignment is designing Hello world board. I use eagle following this and this tutorials, before I started I download fab library from class page and download sparkfun library from here. then I copied files into c:/eagle-7.5.0/lbr, then in eagle control panel, option->directories->lib, I add the full paths to my libraries and configure libraries that will be used by right click on the library->use all, use none for library that I dont want to use for ancien version for the new eagle version find please the screenshot to add, configure library, and schematic design of hello world board.
I checked connections before generating the hello world board from schematic, here hello world board arranged before tracing
to trace hello_world board I use grid size 0.025 inch and alt 0.05 inch, below is the hello_world board
then I hide all layers in hello_world board to prepare for milling here is the board
I export the file as png format file->export->image monochrome, 500dpi resolution, then I resize here is the png format of the file
to add the outline to the image in canvas size I add 20 px in X and Y offset , center, image flatten resize apply the white color to border, here is the result
for the outline I used pot/fill to fill all the board in black color except the border then I invert colors, here is the outline
