Computer-controlled machining it one of my favorite class because I learnt how to produce big things and how to performance the new ideas into a tangible objects!
Setting the Shopbot Machine
Safe & security is the firs step to introduce into CNC machine like the ShopBot so, at the begining you must set the machine values and put the main material on the shopbots table, here I want to share something about that!
1.- Setting the workspace in VCarve Pro - software for making vectors
2.- Creating a first design, the tools are similar to the others graphic softwares
3.- Setting and choosing the bit, it is very important thay you make some test before start a new project
Vcarve Pro - what to do?
In this software you can make a design and then cut or machinig your ideas
4.- It is time to simulate what you want as a product
5.- Once you know the final result, create the correct files
6.- The file could be cut, raster, v-cut, etc and put one or more at the same time
On the ShopBot
All the work you do here must be with sense and safety
7.- Put the main material on the ShopBot table
8.- You need a drill to adjust you material
9.- Fix the axes, X-Y-(Z) with the sensor

FabLab Yachay
At the moment that I was taking the FabAcademy program, I was the FabManager in Yachay, so it is a very interesting experience. In year 2016 it is the first time that we are taking the FAB program so it is time to enjoy it!
