CREATING A WEBSITE FOR DOCUMENTATION


I have created a basic html page to start the documentation process. I have followed basic html tutorials online and created this webpage using basic text editor, Gedit. As I am used to more organized pages during my experiments in the prefab training, I will upgrade this page in the coming weeks. Till then this page will be used for the day to day docuemntation process.


DOCUMENTATION STEPS FOLLOWED FOR UPLOADING FILES TO ARCHIVE

It all started with the basic tutorial Francisco has posted in beachlab, It can be reached from the following link provided below..

The basic steps followed are as follows..

  • Installed the git.
  • Added the SSH keys provided by Francisco for the initial connection establishment.
  • Clonned the Basic Repository folders
  • Generated SSH keys for the laptop
  • Created the gitlab account using fabio profile details
  • Added the private keys to the Gitlab account
  • Afrer I was promoted as developer in the gitlab I could establish connection with the repository
  • Once again all the folder structure was clonned, I created the basic index page inside the students folder to start the documentation process.
  • Following the standdard git workflow process I pushed the basic contents to the repo
  • Link from the landing page of Fablabtrivandrum was also added for the basic navigation purpose

    An IoT Powered Smart Irrigation System with Remote Monitoring !!


    I have in mind to develop a smart IoT based a irrigation system which will help to efficiently utilize the scarce water resources available today. This will be incorporated with drip irrigation system which will improve the proper management of water supply with higher efficiency.The system will be consisting of wireless sensor nodes and a central hub.The system will be equipped with internet connectivity for remote monitoring and control. The basic architecture of the system will be as shown below.

    An IoT Powered Control & Monitoring for Water Quality Measurement !!


    I received a few enquiries to develop a remotely deployable water quality measuring product.I have started working on this and it has progressed upto data acquistion from the water to be tested. I will be working on this project and the modules ( The fabable Modules ) I develop in fab for the comlpetion of this product will be presented as my final project. Here is the basic architecture of the system as I imagine today..
