To carry out this assignments had the idea to design an object that meets a need that we have within the work area and was a small piece of furniture to order my briefcase and books as they find themselves without a place to store them, the first thing I did was draw freehand furniture and to size with the aid of a metal tape

Following this I started drawing the design done using the “Inventor” software so I had to draw piece by piece, the first difficulty I encountered in this task were the couplings in which one should select appropriate for my request.
Once the elements of this furniture completed the next step was to perform the simulation of assembly and ensure that everything can fit properly
Finally after assembly it was observed that all the pieces of furniture fits properly and can be shown in the image
In order to use the machine I had to put some parameters acording to the milling tool
The next step was to start working with the cutting machine called Shop Bot for this purpose I used the appropriate software for this purpose Shop Bot Console. And as shown in the figure should calibrate the X, Y and Z.
Then I show some evidence of how developed cutting and assembly thereof This part should ensure the material to be cut with the table so I had to use self-tapping screws.
The calibration of the machine is very important because if this activity is not done the machine will not be able to have references axes and consequently could have problems in the court
The process of filing chip is very important that when assembling no difficulties
Finally the furniture was as shown in the photo below, considering that the objective was met in this task
