For this assignment I decided to create a gear using Inventor
In order to create the mold I used Silicon rubber compound OOMOO, part A and B in 1:1 proportion
After waiting 3 hours (aprox) you can get the mold
Then I did the Casting using gympsum cement. I had just a single problem. I mistook Instamold for cement, so the first casting was looking funny. Fortunately the mold was still able to cast a few times more. So I used cement this time, and it worked. I also have to say that we accelerated the drying time aplying hot air to the mold. It improved a lot the time it took to dry.
