Leo (WEI Gang) @ Fab Lab Nanjing
This is Leo's disign modified just now for final project.
My final project is still a device to detect environment data of the room, office, stadium, or shopping mall and to alert safeguard or host when something is in emergency.
I tried 2D/3D design tools, such as GIMP, Photoshop, Sketchup, Fusion 360, Premiere.
I changed the top floor more than the bottom one of my final project.
Fusion 360 works well and there are detailed steps shown below.
The top part of my fianl devie is here: http://a360.co/1KbqGID
The bottom part of my fianl devie is here: http://a360.co/1nVvSpC
1 Top part.
1.1 Draw cylinder.
1.2 Shell cylinder to hollow pipe. Sensors will be sticked inside and outside the wall.
1.3 Press and pull. Top and bottom big circle will be used to align itself.
1.4 Cut a rectangle hole in the middle for touch screen.
1.5 Turn it over vertically. Add a touch screen on it.
2.1 Draw a solid box for the car chassis.
2.2 Draw a solid box for the mainboard.
2.3 Draw a wheel with electric machinery.
2.4 Draw another wheel with electric machinery and add universal wheel.
2.5 Draw a solid box for the battery below the car chassis.
2.6 Draw two charging columns extending out 5cm from the car chassis.
2.7 Draw a rectangle cicle above the car chassis.
2.8 Draw a circle which shows the joint between top floor and bottom floor.
2.9 Draw a solid box for the widi module.
2.10 Upload my first project to Autodesk cloud.

My device is actually a little car with many sensors and a wifi module and goes repeatly between point A and B where laser detectors are put.
There is a long corridor in my lab as shown in the picture below.
My device is actually a little car with many sensors and a wifi module and goes repeatly between point A and B where laser detectors are put.
A charging pile is located in point A. The device will go to charge itself while power is below 20%.
The device can upload environment data (such as temperature, humidity, PM2.5, TVOC) hourly to cloud and can alert emergency (such as fire, smoke, noise, earthquake, unexpected break-in) immediately.
If all goes well, more devices should bring big data about different places instantly. Especially for Chinese, it's useful to know the "real" data about air pollution and decoration contamination.
In fact, security alarm is in need for my lab and other places when nobody is on-site. One minute is default to stop the missing alert by entering password. The only possiblity that the device can not alert is when all the device, point A and B are being broken in one minute.
There are two floors. The bottom floor is equiped with chargeable battery, mainboard and wheels.
Sensors, wifi module and password keypad are set up on the top floor.
