        CARLOS CASTRO

Carlos Eduardo Castro Venezuelan architect, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidad Central de Venezuela FAU UCV (2008), after work as Project Coordinator at Sobrespacios Arquitectos C.A. in Caracas, he moved to Barcelona, Spain to study the MSc in Advanced Design and Digital Architecture ADDA at ELISAVA Escuela Superior de Diseño, where he is currently developing a thesis on digital tools and emerging structures

He has participated in several workshops on digital design and manufacturing like the 2010 edition Iaac Summer School "Informalism" (Barcelona, Spain), Performative Hyperbody Proliferations Workshops in Delft University of Technology (Delft, Netherlands 2010) and also he has collaborated in the development of projects and prototypes in experimental structures like PARA-Site Interactive Pavilion installed on 2011 Edition of CONSTRUMAT in Barcelona, Spain.

He is currently active partner in the Barcelona FabLab and he has been participating in the Fab Academy 2011.
Carlos Eduardo Castro arquitecto venezolano, graduado en la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad Central de Venezuela FAU UCV (2008), luego de trabajar en como Coordinador de Proyectos para  el estudio Sobrespacios Arquitectos C.A  en Caracas,  se traslada a Barcelona para cursar la Maestria en Diseño Avanzado y Arquitectura Digital ADDA en ELISAVA Escuela Superior de Diseño, donde actualmente desarrolla una tesis sobre Herramientas Digitales y Estructuras Emergentes.

A participado en diversos talleres sobre diseño y fabricación digital como el Iaac Summer School edicion 2010 "informalismo" (Barcelona, España), Performative Hyperbody Proliferations Workshops en  Delft University of Technology (Deft,Holanda 2010), tambien a colaborado en el desarrollo de proyectos y prototipos en estructuras experimentales como el Pabellon Interactivo PARA-SIte instalado en la edidicion 2011 de la feria CONSTRUMAT en Barcelona, España.


Actualmente es colaborador activo en el FabLab Barcelona y participa en el programa Fab Academy 2011.
