LASOUPAVELO

A story of different steps to get the project done.

  • 1 january 2017

    Let the story begins

How could someone be able to be self-employed with very few things, machines, vehicles, energy …?
Just a bike and a trailer
500 m2 of land to cultivate
A place to sell and serve food in the street or on the market
A little bit of taste for making food and inventing new recipes
    Short distance and low energy

    How much?
    How big?
    How heavy ?

I made calculation and if someone sells 25 liters of soup a day, 4 days a week, he or she can reach the goal.
I will study at the same time as the project evaluates exact quantities, will make functional analyze of the project .
This part is important to balance quantity and weight power consumption of the total project to carry with a bike.
The small trailer carried behind the bike will have to be designed at the same time as the part of the project I will develop in the fabacademy.

    induction or not induction?
    that is the question ...

I want to develop a blender mixer of around 15 liter max that can help anyone not qualified to make fresh soup in the street with or cultivated vegetables or vegetables found on the market that merchants cannot sell anymore.
This blender will have electronic to make different texture of soup, helping heating at the right temperature, keeping warm…
Try to see if we can work with 12 v battery of an electric bike with induction heater on a removable pot easy to clean and move away from the trailer.
I will check other systems than induction heating.
Maybe looking at a system of heating with wood like the dutchtub system. A “Brazzero” for the outside to heat around the trailer and to heat the food with tubes of water around the pot.

    Hay Box,Norvegian pot,Thermos cooking

Energy for heating is a huge problem for the project, weight,battery,appliance...
I found the haybox or a norvegian pot: it is a fireless cooker very well isolated like a thermos to use minimum of energy.
50 to 75 pc less if well isolated.
Change of scenario: Washing, cutting and boiling water will be done at home.
Cooking when moving the vehicule with haybox, then blending before serving.
    To be continued …
