What will it do?

The project is an
interactive puzzle. The puzzle is an engraved image on top of circles, that has to be placed correctly in the right order, to be able to be solved. The puzzle is a part of an Escape Hunt labyrint, and solving the puzzle will in the labyrint open a door. For this Final project, it will activate LED's that give feedback if you are getting closer to solving the game.

Who has done what beforehand?
I will make my microcontrollerboard from SatschaKit. Rest of the design is my own.

What parts and systems will be made?
I will make an Arduino board, using SatschaKit. The system that will be made is an interactive game using RFID readers, that will read the RFID tokens when the puzzle is made correctly.

What processes will be used?
Subtractive:
Milling 2,5D POM, plywood and circuits.
Additive:
3D printing
Coding:
Arduino IDE based
Electronics:
The microcontroller reads the RFID readers and checks to see if any of the tokens is being red. If read, the LED's starts blinking in a faster speed.

What tasks need to be completed?
The tasks needed to be completed is:
• 3D modelling the game
• Milling the case
• Lasercutting the rotating circles
• Engraving image on the circles
• Milling the circuitboard
• Soldering the board
• Programming the board
• Designing the connectionboards
• Milling the connectionboards
• Soldering the connectionboards
• 3D modelling the boardcase
• 3D printing the boardcase
• Assembling the case
• Assembling the electronics

What questions need to be answered?
• How to solve the connectionboards with limited pins and no FLAT cable.
• How will the RFID reader work when the circles are turning and how far apart do they have to be?
• SatschaKit only has 5v, and the readers need 3.3v.

What is the schedule?
The schedule is very limited. I managed to make the main case on an early stage, but I have to priorities lab project delivery. Realisticly will I have about 1 week to solve all the electronics and code needed, and hopefully be ready for the last presentationdate the 21st, and be finished with the documentation on the 28th.
