My final project

what will it do?

It is a car with a laser, so it will have a large difference with other laser machine like the laser-cutter/laser-engraver. It can cut/engrave thing in any sizes that means, it has no limited working range.

who's done what beforehand?

the design of the omni wheel - the wheel that can move in all direction

what materials and components will be required?

The stepper, to control the wheel; the wheel, to let the car move; the laser - endmill; the control board for the laser and the stepper; And something for safety - glasses?

where will they come from?

The material such as the omni wheel, the stepper and the laser can be bought through the internet (in China, I can buy them from Taobao). For other things, I can just make it by myself

how much will it cost?

The greatest expense of it is the laser, it depends on the laser. The lowest prince is 24 USD.

2. June 8 to June 11 - decide how to make my car and what things are inside it.
3. June 12 to Jun 19 - Make my car
4. June 20 to June 22 - optimize the design of the car ( such as making a shield and safe protection )
                            

how will it be evaluated?

If it can be more accurate, and being control and laser-engrave auto ( by the computer or others sending code ). I may be a revolution for the laser cutter, since you don't need to be worried about the working range of your machines.
