Goal of the Assignment

What will it do?

My project is CIAS which stands for Crash Instant Alert System. The project will send the message to your loved once when you met with the accident. The people get informed by the message which is send by the kit with the GSM module.

Who's done what beforehand?

As per my survey, they are project which are implemented as part of it but not combined as whole to do some particular task. There are project based on MPU 6050 and GSM Module SIM800 alone on the web.

What materials and components will be required?

• GSM Module SIM800.
• MPU 6050 -accelerometer and gyro sensor.
• LCD screen
• Switch
• Acrylic sheet
• PCB Board

Where will they come from?

Mostly all the stuff getting used for this project are available at the Fablab riidl, almost all the materials are avilable here in the lab so I don't have to go out for procuring the material.

How much will it cost?

The entire material cost for the project will not be more than INR 1500/-.

What tasks need to be completed?

I have tested each module separately now I need to combine all the module and test out as a whole project i.e. MPU 6050, GSM Module SIM800 and LCD Screen. I need to design and fabricate the casing for the project.

What questions need to be answered?

• What happen when there is no signal and you met with the accident?
• how many messages can be send at a time?

What is the schedule?

• Design Work need to be completed in the coming week.
• Final Finishing, Touchup and Testing should get completed before 12th of June.
• Documentation work will be done simultaniously but in general it should be completed before 13th of June

How will it be evaluated?

The project will be evaluated on the basis of how fast the data is transmitted i.e. messages from the kit, an how reliable is the data. The kit should not send the garbage value due to error from the MPU 6050 sensor. If the sensor is not calibrated.
