The intrinsic meaning of the project is to promote the education of the technological techniques used in a fablab among children with a tool made in the same low cost, open source and easy to replicate. The DIS / ORDER project is complemented by a workshop to teach each of the modules the bases of electronics, circuits and their operation.
The origin of the project comes from creating an educational tool to teach technology that is open to the fablabs interested in education for children innovating with new techniques using the processes, materials and techniques of a fablab. As well, this plan is aligned with the four principals approaches of the Fab Lat Kids network.
However, looking forward for the sustainability of the Fab Lat Kids network for continue developing projects and offering scholarships (as to me) in order to enrich the educational methodologies, I want to sell the final product as educational material to schools and educative center that want to get envolve in this kind of innovation with kids.
This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
Reasons why I used this license:
I wanted to keep the project open for free distribution as open educational tool for other fablabs, schools and educative centers that can easily replicate the project with its own machines and materials, looking forward to start to implement DIY-lowcost-fab educative kits (DIY and Resources approaches).
It can be copy and commercialy distributed giving the right credit to the Fab Lat Kids network for helping this civil association to improve more about other projects and scholarships in the future (Interculturality approach). Not using "non profit" license because maybe in the future some other fablabs can distribute it to other institutions and gain some money for helping the network and make other local projects.
The project can be remix, transform and can be improve some of the parts for enhance all the project. As well this should be distributed with the same license for keeping all the thing open source (DIT approach).
Trying to evaluate another license near to the CC before, I searched for the GNP license but doesnt fill the way i feel for this project it say that will keep open (but with some restrictions) so this WTFPL license fits very well with my project (and with my life) then as the CC and goes like this:
