Invention?

My project consists in creating an autonomous system to grow mushrooms without man's intervention. The mushroom kit already exists, but needs our daily care. If you're planing to go on hollydays or stay out for a few days you guarantee that your mushrroms keep growing and they will probably provide you a good meal when you arrive!

Intelectual Property?

I'm not worried about this concern for now, (prototyping phase). There are lots of open source projects and info in this area. I'm thinking about creating a Common Creative Licence for people to use my creation, under the (CC BY-NC 2.0) terms:
CC Licence Attribution:

Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes. No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits. I must first discuss with the project owner about his intentions on this matter.

Income

To discuss on future meetings with the project owner. I think this part will work as a promotion to people who buy more than 10 mushroom kits (7USD each) or if they want, they can buy this kit for 35USD. The real costs of each prototype are in 20USD, and i want to reduce them. I'm willing to contact the industry to know better about mass produtcion costs for this kit, but has i said, it's not the time yet.
