### what tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?
here below the task list:
- structure : The structure is defined and designed. it's ready to be realized by laser machine and CNC milling machine.
- electronics : the whole electronics is defined. there will be 2 board, one for chose the tonality and the octave of the foundamental note, and the other one to drive se servo based on hall sensor. The first one is alredy designed and the second one is't designed yet.
- code : at this moment i have several separated line of code, made during the previous weeks. i have to put it togheters and whrite the code to drive the 7seg display.
- MIDI comunication : right now i don't have idea how to whrite the code for this part. I hope to figure it out.
### what has worked? what hasn't?
The system to pick the note and the tonality has woked, as the code to calcule the five different frequencies of the pentatonic scale.
The mechanical parts works well, there is a good response between the hand, the hall sensors and the movement generated by servo motors.
I compleatly failed in the MIDI comunication. It's very hard but right now i'm close to solve this problem.
### what questions need to be resolved?
how to make the MIDI comunication?
will i able to control the volume of 5 different midi channels ??
if not, how my machine will be able to make sound in the way like i imagined?
### what will happen when?
once i'he figure out how to make the MIDI comunication I will finish my project and i will find a musician who want try my machine and help me in the future development.
### what have you learned?
These months have been very instructive and useful to learn a lot of new stuff. For me the Fabacademy was't the first aproach to the digital fabrication, but i've got the possibility to increase my skills and make the first steps in the world of coding.
