For 3D printing I was used 86Duino ENJOY and RepRap 3D printer.
At the beginning, we download two files from thingiverse for test our printer.
First one we test for 0.1mm height and 60mm/sec.
Second one we test spring without support for 0.1mm layer height and 15mm/sec.
The other one is test for myself.
From test 3D printer experience, I have learned a slower speed will give us a higher quality print.
I have observed my friend always spend a lot of time to clean his aquarium.
I want to make a hose adapter for a small aquarium.
It can help to change clean water with it.
You can put tiny plastic tubing with it.
I used sketchup for 3D design. When I was finishing with the design I saves as a STL file for 3D printing.
The result looks great.
For 3D scanning, I was used Structure sensor and kinect to scan my self and chair.
After scanning, save the model in .obj file, and import to meshmixer for cleaning and repairing. And save the model to .stl file.
Then I try to use kinect to scan my self. The result looks better than structure sensor.
After used two type of 3D scanner, I would prefer to use kinect to be a 3D scanner.
Structure sensor should be take your phone with it by your hands. It is inconvenient for me and unstable.
If I used kinect for 3D scanner I can sit in the chair and was more stable than structure sensor and better result.
