Steven Chew

Growing up, I remember spending many happy hours climbing trees, building tree houses, soapbox cars, a clubhouse & toy guns. Over the past few years, I've graduated to building teaching data centers, solar powered EVs, personal mobility devices and other fun stuff, including managing Fablab Singapore Polytechnic.

Doing the Fab Academy Diploma course for me is like being a kid given the keys to the candy store. I'm looking forward to the next 5 months with delight.

Final Project

I haven't quite decided on what to do for my final project yet. There are so many cool things to build and I want to make them all...(cue evil laughter...). Some of the projects that spring to mind: BB8, electric guitar, go-kart, cnc router, laser cutter, detachable steering wheel with instrumentation for our solar car... I guess I will just have to settle for one and build the others at a later time.
