How will my project be disseminated?

Throughout this process I have come to understand and become a firm believer of NOT reinventing the wheel.

As stated in my Applications and Implications week, there have been many versions, attempts, successes, and (possibly) failures of creating an automated fish feeder. Being that this kind of idea has been commercially used, my intent is not to sell. The idea of creating my own feeder is to satisfy what was needed. In our hoop house, it seemed more inconvenient to spend more time traveling to a destination and the task only taking a fraction of the time it took to get there. so to alleviate this stress, it is best to build a machine that is dependable (especially on weekends). I want my project to be open-sourced and not for commercial use because this is ongoing; no idea is etched in stone and can only come from me. There are infinite ways to change up this idea, take away or even add to.

A way that the entire project can/will be disseminated is through open-source websites such as Thingiverse or Beautiful Open; parts that I have created can be posted to websites like 3dsoup.

I think this implementation is best when it is collaborated. In addition to open-sourced, I am choosing for this project to be a Creative Commons Attribution.
