WEEK 18: INVENTION, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND INCOME
Assignment:
Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project prepare a summary slide (presentation.png, 1280x1024) and video clip (presentation.mp4, HTML5, less than a minute) in your root directory.

I decided to declare my project under a "Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International" licence.
This basically means that you can:
WHY?
Because of a matter of respect. I believe that all the work that I've made was mostly based on the research published in Fab Academy sites, Arduino open source codes, Neil's Fab Academy's codes & tutorials, and a lot of Fab Academy excercises from other years that I constantly looked. So I believe that as it is time for me to make the same thing that all of these people did, and it is to publish it and let others reuse it, remix it and adapt it. I only ask for recognition, as I am doing here and in all of the codes that I've adapted. I believe that research has to be shared.
To select the type of licence, I went into the Creative Commons Website where you can choose between 6 different possibilities of Creative Commons licenses, by combining conditions.
You'll need to Choose Features, Add Optional Information, and then Generat Licence. The website will automatically create an embedded code for you to copy and paste into your site.
By choosing a licence and including it in your website you are letting everybody know about the conditions of using your work.
Another type of licence would be choosing not to allow adaptations of the work and not the allow commercial use of it. This is called "Non Commercial-NoDerivs".
This means that the licensor permits others to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work, but not distribute derivative works based on it. And that the licensor permits others to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only.

As I mentioned before, this project is part of a research for another big collaborative project called "CINESTESIA: Dispositivos para una algoritmia del cuerpo".
So the idea is to use what I've learned making my MoMoB arm module by improving it, and making it part of a modular system that will be used in the performance. We will also work on the design of robotic artifacts that will comunicate between them, and from the movement of one or different dancers.
WORK: We pretend to work and finish CINESTESIA during the following year and show it in as much as places that we can. To achieve this, we will try to make artistic residencies and basically put our bodies, hands, minds and hearts to work.
EDUCATION: We plan to make workshops around technology and the body, allowing kids and grown ups to understand how to create their own body devices from scratch in a fun way.
EXHIBITIONS: We have already communicated with CMMAS in México, FabLab Chile ( hopefully attending next year!), Fab Lab Barcelona & MediaEstruch-L'Estruch in Sabadell. This institutions will receive our projects as soon as we get positive results from to artistic fundings that we asked in México and Chile.
COLLABORATIONS: On the other hand, I'm looking forward to generate new collaborations with other artists, play with MoMob, generate new ideas, and create different projects creating sound or light or games, always with the idea of translating movement, and exploring human presence through it.
