As a key member of the AS220 Printshop for several years, I have become exposed to bits and pieces of digital fabrication and have expanded my creative practice to incorporate them. My reason for taking Fab Academy stems from an interest in exploring the overlaps between a traditional artistic practice and the use of new technologies. As an artist and educator, I have come to find that it is important never to stop challenging oneself and growing as a person. For this reason, I am even more excited about where I will go with the knowledge, skills, and interests that I will gain through this program.
