WEEK 19
07 June - 14 June
Project Development
This Week is more about understanding the needs of the Final project, To match what was planned before , therefore , I would like to Track the processes i covered till now and what are left.
My Final project is majorly about ELectronics, but it equally involves all the other skills learned in Fab academy.
We have our Final Presentation on 16th June and I am still working on my board. But my board with Atmega 328 would be my biggest achievement in Fab academy if it works.
My project plan was to complete my project by 5th of June. Yes, i am lagging behind in terms of compilation but my project is in good spirit and is giving me ideas for future scope as mentioned in my previous assignments plus i am learning so much of troubleshooting while making this board..
I have been able to finish the following tasks of my Final project:
3D Designing and 3D printing my Tool Holder
Design and Assemble my Trishat kit comprising of my board Atmega 328
RFID embedded Wrist band
Mill-Populate-Program my board

Still trying:
Working on assembling my project
Dealing with Faulty jumper wires
Troubleshooting my board
But I am pretty positive that this 2 weeks continous efforts on my board is equal to the learning of rest of my 3 months.
TIME MANAGEMENT
I plan to focus totally on my board and do rest of things like vinyl for the project and laser cut the pressfit logo later. Well, end means by 25th June.
Will be taking a self evaluation and share my assignments with my instructor for feedback.
Tracking progress:
1. what tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?
All the Digital Fabrication processes are done, just struggling with my board Atmega 328, i am able to program it but its responding very slow. So working on simplifying the code.
2. what has worked? what hasn't?
All digital Fabrication processes has worked well.
I am still working on Atmega 328, i found 2 unconnected pins on my board plus so board is taking lot of time but this also means i am reading Datasheet for every single thing adding to my knowledge to an extreme level.
3. what questions need to be resolved?
>I wanted to add more features to my Project like user interface. but it was not part of my project, though i had numerous future scope in this project but i kept on decreasing them so that its possible in this 5 months course.
4. what will happen when?
I plan to stick to this plan and im still working on left out tasks.

5. what have you learned?
Electronics, Datasheet, Connections, troubleshooting, coding , yes these last 2 weeks has been all about this and it has been an extremely vigorous learning experience. I just feel that i lacked skill of documenting it all because i was already troubleshooting plus meeting deadlines. But i will try to cover everything i faced and did as possible.
6. what is the deadline? How much time do I have left?
Well, i will be able to complete my project but i hope i get enough time to document it within this week which seems difficult seeing the amount of efforts put in and troubleshooting done.
