I will intend to develop a dinosaur robot with pieces to assemble, mainly in the head and legs, as a function of the food (Carnivorous or herbivorous). This Dinorobot will have wheels to run, those will be programmed on a computer board. It will have to follow a white line to finish in the correct food, so it will have sensors, maybe infrared and ultrasound. Dinorobot's anatomy, that you can look in the image, it imitates the shape of his skeleton, putting ribs.
The dinosaurs have always caught our attention because they form part of the history and they seem amazing to us for their large size. In my expirence with the children we need different games, currently we use painting or modeling games for teach the history and the anatomy of dinosaur, but I think that the new tecnologies are a good games for the childrens learn.
Although the natural science and the tecnologies have been a little apart, they always needed each other to move forward to advance. For this I bealive that the kids need to learn to use the tools, the metods and like developement this. Because this tools and metods they will take them to discover everything they want .
Finally I think that the dinosaur robot can to teach, to kids and adults, a dificult concept how evolution or natural selectión. This concept we can see it in many things in life, because for me the evolution by natural selection is a pick the right item at the right time and the others items not survive. For this, the game with the Dinorobot is about select the correct anatomical structure for there moment, the food, and if you don't select the correct element, you won't survive.
Two types of dinosaur:
1. carnivorous: they had a sharp teeth to tear meat and they used the two hind legs for run,all carnivorous dinosaur only use two legs for run and the othe two legs were too little for run. In the mesozoico, run on two legs was more fast than four legs. Also they had several size, for example the little Velociraptor or the huge T.Rex.
2. herbivorous: they had the flattened teeth or a beak for grind the leaves and they could used four or two legs, depending on whether that they run slower o faster. also they could have horns for defense, like Triceratops or not, like Diplodocus.
