Group Project (part 2)

Machine Design

Objective:

This week we continued week 9 group project.

My Role:

My task this week was to document, the same as week 9. I was involved in discussions about the design. Also, I gave some suggestions in the execution.

Due to lack resources, the team came up several solutions. The drawings show these suggested solutions:

-One of the students used Onshape software to draw bearings.

This is another part of the project.

A Wire Box

A demonstration of how the rods will function

-A student using a numerical board to program.

Difficulties:

-There was a couple of problems when we first executed the project, and that was the rods did not move smoothly due to some parts not designed correctly.

- Several parts were unnecessarily designed and had to be removed.
