This week assignment is little different as the assignment will be a group project to design the machine , make a machine and then automate it , but on 2 weeks separately. For the current week the task is mechanical design for the machine and finally make it , the process simply is to create the machine design and choose smart design which can be made at our Kuwait Fab Lab materials , then we will follow the chosen design in all stages : for cutting , printing and assembling the machine parts then operate it manually ( Part 1 – Week 9 ) . Later we will continue in week 11 on the same machine to automate the machine ( Part 2 – Week 11 ).
* My Contribution :
My part will be the assembling and quality assurance for the whole process of the machine designing and making in the same time , also making sure of safety for everyone as safety always come first in each activity and at the same time make the machine parts before assembling and operate it manually. As this step very important and critical to make sure machine is correctively working as per fab lab academy standards and avoid any problems in the machine or in machine parts individual also we have to monitor the CNC machine , 3D printing machine and laser cutting machine to chech any technical issue could may happen to avoid any late in making the machine for this week assignment so I take some pictures for the assembling and quality assurance process for the machine that we make in Kuwait fab lab.
