Week 17 – Applications and Implications
Q – What it will do ?
It will help both adults and kids to use teeth brush in a smart way and without much physical effort as applied in normal teeth brush.
Q - who has done what beforehand?
Me , as I really was thinking of this design long time ago and I take some suggestions and advices from local Kuwait fab instructors as I try to avoid any complicated designing.
Q - What materials and components will be required?
I need vibrations , removable head , timing method , batteries , PCB and cables.
Q - where will they come from?
Most materials are available inside kuwait fab lab but if needed I buy the missing from equipments shops.
Q - how much will it cost?
The main body is cheap around 3 dollars , Batteries bellow 1 dollar , cables are 3 dollars , brush header around 3 dollars , and PCB I make it inside Kuwait fab lab so its free price.
Q - what parts and systems will be made?
I’ll make a PCB board powered by a battery to provide the needed power and vibrations.
Q - what processes will be used?
CAD design, laser cutting, 3D printing, electronic production and programming.
Q - what tasks need to be completed?
All the electronic and programming activities.
Q - what questions need to be answered?
I need to provide the teeth brush header materials as a final step to complete the final project.
Q - What is the schedule?
For last weeks I need to make , collect main parts and produce it if needed . I scheduled my full time for the final assembly and programming.
Q – how will it be evaluated?
For the project to be accepted and succeed , I need to get the basic steps operate the smart teeth brush as the supposed design and The evaluation process is rather easy.
