Week 12 – Molding and Casting

This weeks assignment at Kuwait Fab Lab is to to make cast and mold of designed objects that we are already have designed before. First we have to design the object that we want to mold and cast in 3d design software.

 I chose to make a mold of  pen holder which showing fab academy logo. During casting the material I placed is a magnet in the liquid state of the material to make it magnetic. The following pictures will show the whole process.
