1. what is the deadline? How much time do I have left?
The Deadline : 16th of june 2017 4pm. Time left : 23 hours
The time remaining is ok for me. I can complete the work with convenience and without any struggles. The only thing that I need is to concentrate and assemble the parts together carefuly and not to rush on things.
2. what tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?
Completed:-
A) 3D printing of the body.
B) Board design and programming.
C) Vinyl cutting of the sticker.
Remaining:
The application of the project used inside the smartphone. I need to develop the application using the MIT application developer. It is easy to use and takes less time to learn and apply with t.
3. how will I complete the remaining tasks in time?
I will complete the remaining task by creating a full focus on this subject and try to check sample applications on the internet and create a simular thing.
First 5 hours: Application Development
Second 5 hours: Application testing
Third 5 hours: Glich and problem fixing
Fourth 5 hours: Final Test
4. what has worked?
The components that have been worked are the board, servos, laser and stucture of the project. It means that 80% of the project has been done and only 20% left.
5. what hasn't?
One thing did not work which is the laser due to its size. It is a big laser and require a high voltage. So i changed the bigger laser with a smaller one and it worked. And also the application development for the device to be controlled using te smartphone.
6. what questions still need to be resolved?
1) Does the project needs more improvements? 2) How much time it takes to finalize the project?
7. what have you learned?
I have learned time management, attention to details, critical thinking, organization and technical skills from this project and the fab academy.
Also, It is not fighting for the certificate, It is the way of thinking and how to apply the concept which is inside our minds into reality using simplicity and creativity.
