What is a License

License is an agreement within the contact to rent or lease an intangible product or idea. Without license, individuals cannot be able to use this product otherise they will breach the contract.

Intellectual property

It is the commercial use of ideas, patents, inventions, logos, names and pictures.

MIT License
Mozilla public license
BSD License
Creative common
GNU General Public License
Apache License

MIT License

This is the clause of the MIT license. It shows that the owner will be protected from copy rights by others. However, the owner will expose his patent or personal work to the community to be able to improve and develop his project.

Creaive Common License

This type of license is about sharing the authority of an asset to any other individual to be able to use it and avoiding the rule of copyright usage.

Under the Creative Common License, there are diffirent types of licenses:-

1) Attribution CC BY: This license makes the others use, change, develop your concept idea as long as they share the profit percentage with you.

2) Attribution-ShareAlike CC BY-SA: This license is the same as the previous one but, the diffirent thing is that any derivative come out from the main concept idea will carry the same license.

3) Attribution-NoDerivs CC BY-ND: This license allows the concept idea to be distributed more than ones, as long as it remains constant and share the profit percentage with you.

4) Attribution-NonCommercial CC BY-NC: This license is about sharing the concept idea but without the commercial use of it. Others no need to have a license as long as they use it non-commercially.

5) Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike CC BY-NC-SA: This license makes the others use, change, develop your concept idea as long as they are using it non-commercially. In addition to crediting you with their new inventions and creativity.

6) Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs CC BY-NC-ND: Sharing the concept idea or assets with others but without changing, mixing or tweaking it and in addition, they have to credit you.

Mozilla Public License

This type of license is an open source. And it allows the people to use for free, make any modifications, distribute the data of the project and do any expoitations under certain conditions. On the other hand, it does not grant the permission to use the project as a trade mark.

The current verson of the Mozilla License is called "MPL 2.0" and it was made with 2 years of development. And the most important information people want to gather from Mozilla license are Licensing new source code and Existing source code.

I Choose Mozilla License

My project is new to the market and needs a lot of improvement using many points of views. Me, alone, cannot create a huge improvement for my project. So it is important to cooperate with the others to share information and make a continuous development of the project with trade mark exploitation.
