Computer-Aided Design:raster, vector, 3D Design, Simulation
For raster I was familiar with "PS", so I just simply introduced what my final project looks like and what types of scenarios it will suite for.
I scanned my manual effect drawing in from paper.
Make a sketch to explain how it recessed into the wall.
I choose AI for my vector design tools because it's really popular and easy to found out many courses or tutorials
First I draw out the shape of my screen box for the lasercuter
1.The bigger rectangle can bee used for both faceplate outline and backboard
2.I used an classical network structure for the bending part
Then I scanned some hand-draw picture for some stickers, prepare for the vinylcutter. It's all my preious projects
For 3D design I spend all my time in study how to use Antimony. Because it's highly recommend by Neil and pulls the all 3D design function together: Constructive Solid Geometry, parametric, procedura
1.I found Antimony's github page and follow the introduction
mkeeter/antimony to install antimony.
luckly they have a pre-built application options.
So I just download a DMG and install on my laptop.

I want to learn more about Antimony, but the guides are so limited. So I reference to the tutorial of the previous fab academy students. You can check this links: Daniela Also you can check this link: Test2 to see all files.
Science Valentine's Day is coming, So I decide to make a ring for couples. But There are already many such products; people will simply ignore my design. So then I suddely had an idea: why I don't design a pair of rings for the ex-girlfriends / ex-boyfriends. As a gift send to the "Ex". So I designed those rings and named it: 1.Broken Heard (Because those holes and thorns, it will hurtful when "Ex-" wear it) 2."Go to hell" (The idea inspired by canine teeth or fangs: words hurt ) 3.An ordinary pair of rings for man 4.An ordinary pair of rings for woman
Then I thought about "can I write some new basic shape for the Antimony? and how complicated they can?" So I try this heart shap. But I make a big misstake -- spend so many time on math!!!
1.I found a 2D "heart shap function" in this page:
Drawing Hearts on a Graphing Calculator.
This is a Chinese version爱心方程式
2. Then I translate the function formula of the Antimony, base on the original "circle(centor)" function.
