I could not test the cooling capabilities of the system due to the failure of one of the Peltier element and the poor functioning of the thermal group.
The problem are essentially mechanical:

• Misalignement of the different elements of the group when being bolted. The cold and hot surfaces of the Peltier element do not perfectly match the surfaces of the aluminium spacer blocks which result in constraints on the Peltier device and its possible failure (see the image below). Bending of the group causes poor contact between surfaces and poor heat energy transmission

• The aluminium spacer block shoud be made in a single piece. Too many contact surfaces reduce efficiency.

Conclusions

Addiitonal work will be required on the thermal blocks assembly system. Actually, mounting the system in a vertival position improved results. The system should therefore be mounted, perfectly aligned, before being inserting in the freezer/cooler assembly.
