MeM Modular Emergency Mesh

The motivation behind the project, is to improve the quality of life of people affected by natural disasters or emergencies. Emergency Situations are quite often in my country, and I have perceived that the authorities are not prepared in the sense of incorporating technologies to improve responsiveness to emergencies.

That is why I see that profits are more related to services, and establish business relations with the government who is the institution that take care of natural disasters. Somehow the project should be designed as a company providing technology consulting services to solve specific problems, with concrete answers. Therefore I think the modularity of the project is so important because the same parts of hardware can be used for different purposes, it is why the software and hardware should be distributed by Creative Commons 4.0.

This would have the benefit of another may find applications in different markets and the company as a service could advise on the implementation of large-scale projects. This idea that other users can give new interpretations to the hardware and software is what makes Arduino and Linux so successful because without the community, the original idea could not have grown so much. I see that the very concept of modular network can be applied to many other fields, such as agriculture or the possibility of lifting isolated terrain data, such as those in the mountains or in Patagonia.

The copyright of the company must be registered as it is the way to build a reputation in the market and how to manage partnerships with government and other private markets. As a consultant, the idea is to deliver a software and hardware that does not become obsolete over time and that will improve the quality of life of people through innovation in technology applied to the problems of cities and ordinary citizens.

Another approach is technology transfer to communities. For example, deploy mesh networks in places of difficult access and be self-managed are achieved by training end users. This would allow testing prototypes in functional environments, and as income, you can charge for the service of installing teaching people maintain the network, rather than charge for selling hardware. The issue of emergencies and natural disasters requires strong investment in technology and I think it's time to bring a fresh vision to impact positive way to society.
