I come from Russia, land of bears and balalaikas and a couple of Fab Labs apparently. I live, study and work in a wonderful city of St.Petersburg that is also called nothern capital of Russia (and cultural capital of Russia, btw). You should come visit it some day - you won't be disappointed.
In school I got interested in robotics so I enrolled school robotics club where we made robots using lego mindstorms. Later, during the first year of university course I joined a fablab-like company where got familiar with 2d & 3d modelling, laser cutter and 3d printer. In 2013 Fab Lab Polytech was opened and I moved there to master my skills and make stuff.
