Plan for dissemination

My project has the profile to be accepted easily like a social purposes, because lack of clean and safe water is a growing problem for many people in the world. Many organizations around the word are looking for solutions about that.

In distant villages in developing countries, only a low percentage of people has safe water access . Without adequate water and sanitation access, waterborne diseases flourish. Women and children are forced to walk long distances to collect water, time that could be spent in school or working. Competition over limited water resources can lead to conflict. So provisioning water is urgent for governments, municipalities, local authorities, and international organizations related with care about people.

In Peru, there are some stimulus and competitions, around innovation, on innovative projects, some of them related with ecological objectives and other related with social ones. I plan to form a team to prepare a project profile and apply the project for those competitions, searching economic and advising support.

In Peru, Cienciactiva, Fincyt, Kunan had those competitions for such projects.

But I think this is only the first step, there are many technologies like Water for Air Machines, and researching in one or two technologies could help.

A very close objective is to install the fogcatcher and its Dew Point Monitoring System in the hill near Fab Lab Esan, this could be mentioned in the Esan University's newsletter.

Also I plan to assist to events related with ecology, and mention about my project.

I think I will ask to prepare some bussiness card where I will mention about this research, and give this card to people I met.

Comparing and choosing Licences

Creative Commons built the legal and technical infrastructure that allows effective sharing of knowledge, art and data (music, photos, courses, blogs, programms etc) by individuals, organizations and governments. The licences are for creators that want to share work that enriches the global commons for everybody. "Creative Commons helps you legally share your knowledge and creativity to build a more equitable, accessible, and innovative world".

According to https://creativecommons.org/licenses/ public copyright licenses incorporate a unique “three-layer” design. A resume of the types of licences based on those layers, are shown in the figures below, created by CreativeCommons.org

I, also found and infographic made by Milos Janata, who has created a simplified look at the various CC Licences in an easy to understand way.

The electronics, mechanics and fogcatcher, as part of my project will be open source, and any one could reproduce it, i dont expect income from this at least for now.  That's why I will choose the Creative Commons.

I choose the option:

CC-BY-NC-SA

So my designs could be used for non-profit. They can be remixed, tweaked, and built upon them. I would like them to be used in social purpose projects .
