Fogcatcher Design

 

To design my fogcatcher, I used Autodesk Fusion 360, taking advantage of the licence agreeement that has FabAcademy with Autodesk

I placed the screenshots in a sequence to display how can the fogcatcher be assemby.

 

​

 

All unions are done with the pressfit technique.

 

​

 

 

This process can be done only by one person, but is better if two.

 

 

​

 

This additional parts of the structure were designed to give stability.

My first test to assemby the fogcatcher

I need to daub the pieces with marine varnish to make it impermeable

 

​

A colector pipe had to be instaled to store the water collected.

 

​

 

Finally, the mesh is instaled, using some hooks that I cutted in the Shopbot as well.
