In continuation from the previous week, Incite Focus will be using the modular stages we built and connected to make it do something. In this stage of our process, we decided to maintain the original design of the machine, and experiment with understanding the limits, what it can do, as well as what we want it to do in its simplicity. Upon further discussion and staying with originality, we are connecting our machines, attaching a pencil and automating one of the stages for it to draw. In its modesty, something creative that we thought would be cool is designing a fractal. After having decided what we want our modular machine to do, we needed to find and test that our machine worked. I searched for a python program that could be used as inspiration for the code that could run multiple nodes. I found the perfect example in the 2015 tutorial.
Before automating our machine, we examined the file and identified the part of the code that would implement a closed loop to show the automation needed. Here is the link to our group page.
