What will it do?
Precious Plastic 2.0 will recycle a wide variety of plastics from the ones used in 3D printers to Plastic left in the beach's all over the planet. The nozzle is modular so you can create your own shapes and sizes to create a new life to waste plastic (Ex: Lamp Shades, Fruit baskets etc)
Who's done what beforehand?
Recycling of Plastic exists for several years but it's expensive and it wasn't accessible to everyone, through out the years new affordable recyclers have appeared

What materials and components will be required?
Since the past versions of a plastic extruder there was no costume made Electronics this will be the main area I'll focus on.
Electronics:
Motor Control Board:
Where will they come from and How much will it cost?
What parts and systems will be made and what processes will be used?
Electronics will all be locally produced except for the Temp sensor, milled and stuffed.
The hopper and the case for the electronics will be laser cut.
Extruder barrel holder and barrel will be locally cut and soldered.
The motor holder and the shaft will be 3D printed.
What tasks need to be completed?
Mechanical: The Barrel and the barrel holder have to be cut and soldered and the hopper laser cut and assembled.
Electronics: Finish the Design of the boards in Eagle, produce the boards and test them independently.
What questions need to be answered?
How can I decrease the number of pins used by the LCD?
Is there a alternative if the Heat bands do not arrive on time?

1 week 24/05 - 29/05: 5 Days
- BOM of materials and order what's missing Mechanical and electronics (Done)
- Finish Design the Extruder Hopper (Done)
- Laser Prototype (Done)
- Mill the Fabduino (Done)
- Design Motor (Done) (5ã Mosfet) (Do not use PIN PB0 its not for PWM)
- Mill Board (Done)
- Solder Boards (Done)
- Program boards (Done)
- Document (Only finished on the 3/06)
2 week 29/05 - 5/06 : 7 Days
- Look for how to make THREDS AND where to get MILL Bit,
AXIAL BEARING 7ã (Done) (http://www.format-tools.com/es/distribuidores-especializados/spain.php)
- Make a solidworks virtual model of the machine with material that you have already
- Get Drill bit on monday (26x600mm would be ideal) (Done 20ã)
- Start building Machine
Join all the electronics and programming (See example of the Temperature board)
- Processing / Arduino Interface
- Solve Problems
- Document
3 Week 5/06 - 16/06 : 11 Days
- LCD and I2C board
- Heating system using Mosfet
- Finishing touches
- Prepare presentation document
- Help in other Final Projects
- Present on the 16th

How will it be evaluated?
Since I focused so much in creating a fully produced Electronics system for a plastic extruder if in my final project both the temperature activation system and the variable Motor Controller work ill be extremely happy!
And also having a good looking extruder being able to cut the costs of the original!
