The assignments for wk18 were as below;

1. Create and document a license for your final project.
2. Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project.

My idea and work

Since my final project is totally for personal use and mainy its purpose is for my improvement on digital fabrications. It is acceptable for me to other people build further on my idea and work to improve it or to create something else out of it, as long as I will be let to know the fact that they make use of it.

License

On the lecture, Niel introduced us Creative Commons, which is an American non-profit organization and its web platform devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share. Creative commons helps us to choose a fitting license for our works very easily.

Though I create my license on creative commons this time, I learned the limitaiton and the range of those license, so am able to make use of it effectively next time.

I came up with several idea for dissemination of my final project.

1. Using internet platform
   I can spread my idea to all over the world through uploading my final project to platforms like Wikipedia, Flickr, and Vimeo to provide their users with the option of licensing works with CC licenses.

2. Visit/Exhibit to the event like a Maker faire.
   There are more and more events for Makers all over the world, not only western countries but also other countries, including Japan, developing countries and such. I can exhibit my final project to local maker faire to disseminate my idea to many people.

3. Begin startup company thgough cloud-funding platform
   If I can improve my final project further as well as it can be selled to customer, I can use cloud-funding platforms, like Kickstarter. If many people invest money to my project and product, there are posibilities to monetize and build new business on it.
