For this week, we needed to create a slide and a movie clip, one minute in length, to introduce our final projects. The slide for my project can be found below. Originally, I had intended to use electroconductive screenprinting ink to illuminate the artwork, but I needed to find an alternative, as it was too difficult to buy this material in time. I have decided to use EL wire as an alternative. I have learned a lot about the proper ways to use EL wire, incorporating the 12V inverter for optimal light. However, I am still yet to decide how to position the EL wire within the frame, as some arrangements may look a little tacky through the paper.
