Hi! I'm a 31 year-old Peruvian currently taking the Fab Academy at AS220 in Providence, Rhode Island. Before coming to the East Coast I was living in San Francisco for some months, and before that I was living in Peru, where I had an architecture studio together with two friends.
I finished my studies in architecture during 2010 at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, in Lima. However, some years before starting a my path through architecture, I had started studies in Economics at another university. I changed half-way through! It was a tough decision, but one that I don't regret of, not even a little bit.
I came to the U.S. in order to study again and to take the opportunity to focus my carreer into something more specific. Back home, I had experienced with many different projects and now I have decided I will continue in the intersection between architecture, urbanism, art and social change. I expect to learn at the Fab Lab the possibility of making and building with my own hands and at a small scale all of my future projects.
