Fab Lab Addis / Fab Academy 2013

 

In this option I am planning to make a design a of simple house/ structure unit and make the doors and window close and open by making use of proximity sensors. Here I would only make a prototype (a model) of the house and implement the sensors for the windows and the doors. If favorable condition is apparent, I will experiment with sound and pressure sensors. I will be operating the sensors by using arduino (analogue input: sensors, and analogue output motors). And I also want to combine processing with arduino in order to get a graphic (on monitor) version of what is happening physically on the modeled prototype.

In order to come up with my first project proposal: project proposal B, I made the fallowing drawings and pictures by making use of revit architecture and AutoCAD software. The pictures show different views of a small residential house unit.
